Veterinary Receptionist & Veterinary Assistant

Peace Love Pawz Wellness Center is a brand-new, RVT-owned veterinary practice opening in Akron, OH—and we’re building something special from the ground up.

We’re looking for compassionate, motivated Veterinary Receptionists and Veterinary Assistants who want to be part of a collaborative, community-driven team that truly cares about both pets and people.

What You’ll Do

Receptionist Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients and patients with warmth and professionalism

  • Manage scheduling, phone calls, and client communication

  • Maintain accurate medical records

  • Process payments and support front desk flow

  • Help create a welcoming, low-stress environment

Veterinary Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Support veterinarians and technicians during exams and procedures

  • Safely restrain pets and ensure patient comfort

  • Assist with lab work, radiographs, and treatments

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas

  • Educate clients on basic pet care and follow-up instructions

What We’re Looking For

  • Positive, team-oriented attitude

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Passion for animal care and client service

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

  • Experience in veterinary medicine is preferred but not required (willing to train the right candidates!)
